How can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made by email or phone.
Do I have to make an advance payment when booking?
Yes, 10% of the total amount of the stay.
Can I pay with a credit card?
On-site, we accept VISA and MASTERCARD. Currently, online payments can only be made via bank transfer.
Is the house suitable for the disabled?
Yes, there is both an elevator and a room adapted to the needs of wheelchair users.
Are there towels in the rooms?
Yes, a small and a large towel, a bottle of water, and a snack are provided in each room.
Does the Polish phone charger fit or do you need an adapter?
If necessary, the house has adapters.
Is there a TV in the rooms?
There is a public TV room on the first floor.
Is there a bathtub or shower in the bathroom?
The rooms with a bathroom have a shower.
Are the rooms air conditioned?
Unfortunately they are not. We plan to change this as soon as possible.
Is there a grocery store nearby?
Across the street there is a supermarket which is open from 7 am to 10 pm (Monday- Sunday).
How long does it take to reach the center of Rome?
From the House to the station is about 10 minutes on foot or 6 minutes by bus, then by train from La Giustiniana station to San Pietro station is 25 minutes.
Can I buy a CIS weekly ticket at the Polish House?
Yes, for 100 minutes, one day, or three days.
Is there a direct connection with Florence?
The train leaves from Termini station in the center of Rome for Florence.
Can you drive home and leave it in the parking lot?
Yes, we offer free parking onsite.
Is the ticket valid for a sightseeing tour of the city?
The ticket is valid for buses in Rome, train from la Giustiniana station to the centre of Rome and metro.
Where can I leave my car in Rome?
First of all by using paid parking. All parking spaces marked with blue lines require payment in the nearby parking meters. ln places marked by white lines the parking is free, but it can be for only a limited time. We believe that the Italian police pay particular attention to cars with foreign registration.
How long before arrival should I order the papal blessing?
At least a month before.
Does snow appear in January and February? Do you need warm, winter clothes to walk around the city?
Snow appears sporadically however, because of the high humidity one feels the cold.
Does the Polish House assist pilgrims staying there in organizing trips, for example, to Monte Cassino or Assisi?
Yes, we provide assistance in organizing trips and pilgrimages to sanctuaries in Rome, the surrounding area, and throughout Italy.
